Six Sentence Sunday — "Naughty and Nice"
Welcome to my seventh “Six Sentence Sunday”. Thank you for visiting and especially for any comments you might leave me.
This teaser comes from my short story about a kind-hearted succubus (notice a theme here?) that will be included in Evernight Publishing’s 2011 holiday-themed anthology, Stockings and Suspenders.
In this six, our leading lady, Chrissy, prepares a Christmas gift for a serviceman who’s been extra nice that year. Santa has to outsource certain gifts, you see. 😉
I skim my wardrobe, searching for the perfect wrapping. Beholding a gift, wondering what’s inside, before finally peeling away the paper, should be almost as much fun as enjoying its contents…almost.
The lacy red bra and matching thong are my favorites and season-appropriate. I’ll top them with a military uniform so I can deliver a ho-ho-ho and not look like one, not at first anyway.
“Lt. David Ramsey, prepare for the petit mort this Christmas.” The little death, the French call it, and rightfully so.
If you enjoyed that, I hope you’ll pick up a copy of Evernight Publishing’s holiday anthology, Stockings and Suspenders when it releases this December.
Be sure to check out the host site, Six Sentence Sunday, for links to more tantalizing snippets from some very talented writers.
I love the ‘not at first anyway’ line. You have given her a great voice. Fabulous six.
Thanks, Alix. I like ’em sly, that’s for sure.
Red lace w/military uniform…hot! Nice job on your six.
Thanks, Sandra!
Cute. Very cute. She sounds like a ‘nice’ character despite her being what she is. 🙂
Heh-heh, she’s an ethical gal as readers will discover later. Thanks for the read, m’dear.
tres bien! as the French would say. 🙂 and…. Oo-la-la.
Merci beaucoup, Monsieur! Bon chance avec votre SSS.
LoL. I’m sure the serviceman will be pleased with her choice of wardrobe. Great six! 😉
Thanks, Lorien. As pleased as any boy is with the wrapping on his toy. heh-heh.
Nice! I love how you refer to her wardrobe as wrapping, like a gift 🙂 Makes me wanna read on, to the next part, to the person who unwraps and finds a surprise ^_~, hehehe!
Thanks. There’s a couple of surprises in this one, and not just the obvious, wink, wink.
Oh, very nice six! Now I want more. 🙂
Thanks, Carrie Ann!
Now that’s a Christmas present any soldier would love to unwrap. Great six
Thank, Lindsay. 🙂
You described it perfectly by calling this a ‘teaser’ 😉
Ooohh! Sounds like the Lt. Is in for some great fun!
