Six Sentence Sunday — “All’s Fair in Love and War” #4 #SixSunday

Welcome to “Six Sentence Sunday”.  Thank you for visiting and especially for any comments you’d care to leave.

This will be the last six sentence teaser from my novella “All’s Fair in Love and War,” coming May 11th (Friday!! Eek!) from Evernight Publishing.

Throughout the story, the heroine, Shelby, has dreams based on her interactions with her love / hate interest, Colin. Each sequence is also a parody of the bodice-ripper type romances Shelby loves to read, and in each one, Colin bests her:

She clung to him, felt his buttocks tense and release as they drove him into her body again and again, seeking her welcoming depths.

Then she toppled over the edge, screaming his name, “Russ!” as her senses overwhelmed her, and she plummeted with dizzying speed. She still clutched his body to hers as he tumbled into that place of bliss with her, his cries of her name on his lips.

“Hot damn, Baby, that was good!” he exclaimed as he lifted his head to look at her. To her horror, the visage gazing at her was not that of Russ but of Colin.

“Nooo!”

If you enjoyed this tantalizing little nibble, check out the host site, Six Sentence Sunday, for links to more snippets from some very talented writers. Watch for All’s Fair in Love and War, available Friday at Evernight’s website, Amazon, B&N.com, All Romance and Bookstrand. No links yet. Sorry.
